You can create private departments (intranets) in SchoolStatus. They make important resources available to your staff outside your network. You must have a login to your website to access an intranet. Intranets are no different than any other department in SchoolStatus. They simply can't be accessed unless the person is logged into your website.
- How do I see a listing of my intranet(s)?
While on the dashboard, click on Intranets in the side navigation. This will take you to a screen showing all of your Intranet sites. - How do I view a listing of the root departments for an intranet?
To view a listing of departments in an intranet click on Intranets in the side navigation. The screen will refresh showing all of the intranets that your district/school has, under the appropriate one select View Departments and this will take you to the Root View of that intranet. - How do view my intranet?
There are two ways you can view your school's intranet. The first way is by clicking on Intranets in the side navigation on the dashboard. The screen will refresh showing all of the intranets that your district/school has, under the appropriate one select View Public Site. The second way can be found in the middle of the main dashboard screen, you will see an Intranets section that contains a list of all of your site's intranets. Click the Eyeball icon to the right of the intranet that you would like to view. - How do change the name of an intranet?
While in Intranets, click on the gear to the right of the intranet's name. There you will be able to edit the Name of the intranet. Please remember if you refresh the Slug, links to the intranet will be broken and will need to be manually fixed. Only website administrators should be changing the name of a website. - How do I delete an intranet(s)?
To delete an intranet site go to the dashboard, click on Intranets in the side navigation. This will take you to a screen showing all of the intranet sites, there click on Delete Website for the intranet site that you would like to delete. Please remember once an intranet is deleted it cannot be recovered and will need to be manually rebuilt.
