While on the dashboard, go to the top toolbar which is always available no matter where you are at in the dashboard and click on Help, on the following screen choose Open a support ticket. The second option is through the chat located at the bottom right side of the window.
The key thing to remember when submitting a support ticket is the more information that you can give the better. Below is a list of possible items to include in the description.
- Detailed instructions on what you are wanting to do or how you got the error.
- The URL to any pages
- Screenshot(s)
- Windows - Press the PrtScn button. This essentially copies and image of the screen to the clipboard. You will then need to paste the image into Word or an image editing program (recommended). If you want to only capture the active window, press the Alt and PrtScn buttons together.
- Macintosh - Press the Command, Shift, and the '3' buttons together to take a screenshot of your entire screen. To take a screenshot of a portion of the screen, press Command, Shift, and the '4' keys. These will be saved to your desktop and can be attached to the ticket.
- If possible information on your operating system and what version, what internet browser that you are using, and its version. You can easily find this information out by going to http://status.schoolnow.com/. Which you can supply to us by taking a screenshot of the screen and then attaching it to the ticket.
- Any files.
