Your Employer Identification Number (or EIN) is typically what is used to verify your identity. Your EIN is filed with the name of your organization. Of course, it causes delays and additional headaches, so it's just best to submit the best data in the beginning.

Check with your office staff if you are not sure of the way your organization is listed with your EIN. They can likely help!
