Find updates to the app by version. Updates apply to both the Android and iOS apps unless otherwise noted.

• Updated libraries for both iOS and Android.
• Bug fix: When tapping messages from the home feed, the detail rendered a blank white screen. This issue has been resolved.

1.1.11 - In this release - November 8, 2023

• Fixed daylight savings time offset issue that was seen in some areas of the app (both versions)
  
  

1.1.10 - In this release - August 16, 2023

• Added the ability to set the preferred language in which to receive school communications via the app.
• Fixed a rendering issue for HTML-based messages on the home feed, and in the notifications tab.
• Updated contact management lock-out method. This is an optional setting for schools to disallow contact info editing in SchoolNow.

Android-specific updates

• Fixed the tappable hot-spot in the top menu (for multi-schools).
• Improved issue on Android where app does not ask for device permissions upon install. This is an ongoing issue and varies per device and OS version. We'll add fixes over future versions. In the meantime, review how to grant device permissions manually.

• Schools can now specify whether or not parents/guardians can add and edit their contact information via the app.
• Optimized home feed performance.
• We have resolved the problem with Daylight Savings Time offset for events, ensuring that all events are now displayed with the accurate time, even for future events.

1.1.7 - In this release - January 30, 2023

• Eliminated accordion menus on quicklinks, showing all links for all schools.
• Modified workflow for adding relative-type contacts.
• Fixed the alignment of timestamps on the main app feed.
• Added the ability to push certain types of app updates without the need for an app store update, or review.
• Fixed issue of app not forcing logout if left unused for specified time span.

• Fixed image offset issue on some story types on main feed.

• News stories can now contain formatted content, or call external URL's. 
• Improved performance of main feed by refactoring API payload.
• Improved device identification on contact preferences screen.

1.1.5 - In this release - December 5, 2022

• Added pinning functionality. Now, any event type can be pinned to stay at the top of the feed. 
• Events can now have both a featured image and a supporting "headline" to support the title.
• Fixed how multi-day events display. Events were not showing the end date for multi-day events.
• Notifications tab refreshes on every visit to ensure all the latest notifications are showing.  
• UI fixes for iPhone mini devices.

• Fixed login "Send code" and "Submit code" buttons so they can only be tapped once (prevent requesting and sending multiple codes.)
• Improved video experience. Video play auto-stops when video is scrolled out of the feed view.
• Fixed the "Directory" listings under the school contact pages to call specified URL's from master settings.

Android-specific updates

• Fixed visibility of post images on Google Pixel devices.
• Handled various Android tablet display issues.
• Reduced the size of the Android app.

1.1.3 - In this release - October 2022

• Fixed the data verification flow process so that it's only shown once initially, on then again only if user specifies a problem with data later.
• Improved encrypted storage for authentication access and refresh tokens.
• Fixed proper display of splash screen branded graphic on initial app login.

• Fixed general message toggle function under preferences.
• Fixed calendar events justification on main feed.
• Fixed video controls being cut off.
• Fixed misaligned school name on notifications.

1.1.2 - In this release - September 25, 2022

• Removed the school name as text on the splash screen in order to give more control over branding.
• Fixed issue of toggling on/off specific device notifications seen in the parent portal.
• Improved handling of UI for single-school and non-district customers.
• Added "Logout" function, now found under the "About App" tab.
• Improved error-handling for server statuses.
• Improved handling of authentication tokens and increased timeouts to reduce the number of times a user has to login again.
